Since we're all being judgmental up in here, i will say that to me at least it seems stoners lack motivation entirely, just seem like the most unproductive people. Say what you will but at least high functioning alcoholics can still get shit done.

One of my friends is a little crazily obsessed with this thar here murder simulator. It also came off as a bit silly to me and i never felt the premise was truly realized. But yaay anyway.

Id put goldeneye up there too. Sure it may not have aged well, but it consumed so much of my time/life back then it would be remiss not to give it its due.

If the home/portable hybrid thing is a reality expect there to be tiers/separate pricing for each part and a pretty lofty premium to get the complete experience.

I am interested and still have faith in what nintys doing but i also need to be realistic.

hyper light drifter is effing beautiful, and i really admire the approach to storytelling. that said i only played about an hour of it despite all my hype for it and haven't returned yet which i HOPE to rectify. i think it was the starkness of the storytelling and direction that kinda put me off initially. also it's pretty damn tough (though i disagree with others about the dash, it feels really tight).

as far as gameplay goes enter the gungeon is admittedly more satisfying, if only on a surface level. it's something you can just dive into and enjoy, and the writing's actually surprisingly clever and full of personality.

so yeah, i can't really choose either. i'd say gungeon for the immediate gratification i suppose.
