@lonelyspacepanda: the problem is, people like south park UNTIL it pokes fun at them, then it's immediately bad and out of touch. Like PC principle. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that character, but people got pissed at it because it's poking fun at them rather than the people on the other side.
I understand being tired of the humor in South Park, but it also seems like some people in the games press are against the idea of making fun of certain things because of what they believe politically.
South Park makes fun of everything, and that just doesn't jive with them.
Not just the games press, I'm noticing it a lot in general lately from everybody, here and Reddit.
Yeah, I get the feeling people are making assumptions. South Park does poke both ways. Centrist viewpoints I guess. They don't conform to what one group of people say is not allowed to have jokes made about. This does not make them out of touch, it just means they have a differing opinion.
These days people are getting extremely pissed off about differing opinions. South Park is funny until it calls out some bullshit you do, then it's just them being out of touch.
How do they not know the droids are the bad guys in the prequels? It was causing a lot of problems with them not knowing which heroes were on their side.
I like Rory and all, but I wish he wouldn't be the one asking questions. He doesn't pay attention to anything and just constantly asks questions they already answered. Sometimes right after they answered it.
