Did everyone ignore the fact he said 'All-American kids'? Discriminating against something that can be changed is nowhere near as egregious as claiming you only want a certain race of people to wear your clothing. That's kinda disturbing to hear, as well as the lack of outcry over it.
No major brand markets to overweight people, that's no surprise, a fat person does not make a pair of jeans look as good as a muscular, fit person. You want that image promoted everywhere so the association is strong. If anything in my experience I find clothing to be unsuited for muscular or built individuals and seem aimed at skinnier frames. I am 5' 10" and weigh around 185lbs and I find that with many medium tshirts I cannot raise my arms without my stomach being exposed. And jeans? Don't get me started on jeans. Try finding a pair that fits a 31' waist and thick legs well. They don't exist, I end up with jeans that are slightly loose around my waist yet I cant raise my legs above 90 degrees. All these brands are muscularists.
@MMMman: The trailer for Ground Zeroes was an announcement that was more to excite fans and tease them about the possible setting and plot of the game. I am sure in time they will release more gameplay but I believe that myself and many others are anticipating the cinematic cut-scenes and story just as much as the game itself.
I found Lara Croft to be quite powerful and capable in the original Tomb Raiders despite her ever expanding cleavage. Though in all honesty the industry needs to flesh out main characters in general. Men are treated as 'roided up gun-toting thugs where the only trait that differentiates them from the enemy is the colour of their flag.
I remember loving Halo: Combat Evolved's manual since it was in full colour (a rarity these days) and had detailed information on every weapon, vehicle, enemy. Being a kid I was fascinated and I'm disappointed in how much of an afterthought manuals are these days :(
