I'm on the "Dan's workout regime" team. The fact that he eats tubs of cheese in a sitting and isn't a planet is super impressive. Also, I sent an e-mail into the bombcast a while back saying that if everyone had different jobs, that I thought Dan's should be life coach. So just in case that was how they got this idea, somebody owes me a beer!!

Best show on TV. It's shocking, but to me, the show never got worse. It's been 9, going on 10 seasons now and I still love it front to back. I didn't even start watching it until a few years ago when it was introduced to me very late in the game. Better late than never, and you can best believe I speed ran the whole series. (I think I can use the term "speed ran" here right?)

"Ok, which one of us do you want to take you in the back and bang ya?" *flexing intensifies*

Legitimate egg whites and paper plates. I thought this guy was just an urban legend, but he's real.

I went through a period of enjoying it, and dropped $50 on one of my favourite albums ever: Have One On Me by Joanna Newsom. She's about as close to a real live elf we will ever have as a race. Kicked the habit after that though. An album has to be REAL special for me to both buy it and sit my fat ass up to put it on when I'm in the mood.

It's great for cleaning the house and sipping wine too, though. In those regards, vinyl prevails 100%.

@spyder335: Oh man, Settlers of motherfuckin' Catan stream. That would be the shit. Fuelled by energy drinks and vodka.

@sunbrozak: That's awesome. I love that song. Jose Gonzalez is a fantastic musician. For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, he does a lot of covers, one of them being Teardrop by Massive Attack. Look up the video, it's absolutely stunning.

@apparatus_unearth: If I had better photoshopping skills, I would put James Earl Cash on the cover of There's Something About Mary.

This one gets my vote though. I played that game when it came out and I was about 13-14, and I remember thinking, "Holy shit, maybe this is even too graphic for me". I felt gross after playing that game, but as a horror fan, it's definitely one of my top games that I still think about from time to time. Piggsy gon' get you.

@ianh83: Go through all of the classic PS1-era Final Fantasy's. Maybe skip 8, I never gave a crap about that one. If you're looking for something more modern, get Child of Light. It's absolutely stunning visually and audibly, but don't expect too much from the story or characters. It's a good way to waste 10 hours and has an interesting, if sometimes frustrating tactical battle system.

Aside from that, there's Eternal Sonata and FFXIII, though I eventually stopped playing both of those from lack of interest.

Best JRPG's were on the PS1 era, my friends. It hurts to say it but they're a dying breed.

@milkman: I just beat Metal Gear Solid again a couple of days ago and I still absolutely love that game, corniness and all. It's amazing what the nostalgia shades can do to you, because you can't sneak, nor can you shoot successfully in that game. Watch MGScanlon to see what I mean.

EDIT: Honestly though, if you have enough love for something, age usually doesn't factor into the mix. I had never beaten Chrono Cross but always wanted too, and didn't end up doing it until last year. Now, it's one of my favourite games. That part where Serge hugs, was it kid Kid? (Not a typo!) Tore me the FUCK UP.
