Top Ten of 2013 (So Far)

So I've decided to start my top ten list and ill add and change to it at the end of the year.

So here we go;

List items

  • From the creators of Uncharted and Jax & Daxter, Naughty Dog yet again deliver a fantastically realized and profound insight into a post apocalyptic world of being hunted and being the hunter. The last of us has many great moments and is currently my number one game of this year.

  • There's not much to say, it's GTA V. The story is great and the characters within this version in the series are funny, dark and cliche but in a good way. This is my number two of this year.

  • Arma is one of my favourite games series, it doesn't conform to normal FPS gameplay styles and requires people to think before they shoot unlike modern shooter today. I love this game and playing with friends or a team makes it 10 times better. This is my number three of this year.

  • I was initially skeptical of this game when i saw it was free to play. I had heard bad things about the community and was reluctant to jump on board. I started playing DOTA 2 within the past 3-4 months and have grown fond of it. It takes time to learn and people are unforgiving but you end up with some satisfaction at the end of a match even sometimes if you've lost. This is my number four of this year.

  • I've been waiting for a Splinter Cell game to go back to it's "roots" and become a "stealth" game again. Blacklist does indeed go back to its roots and blends the CQC and melee combat that was great from Conviction and combines it with the great stealth gameplay from chaos theory. It feels smooth and it has a good story line. This is my number 5 of this year.
