@sub_o: Wow, sorry for the late reply. Yes, I'm into cardistry, and I guess you are, too, since I've never heard anyone not into it use that word. I mostly do magic, though (or prestidigitation!) and haven't done any pure flourishing in a while.

It definitely didn't bar me from entering any territory. I think (and my memory may be faulty on this) that there are no landmarks visible on the map in any sector until you climb the tower. I have to say, though, that my MO in AC games is to go climb all the towers in the beginning just to show everything on the map, so I might be the exact wrong guy to ask. lol

But everything is there to be collected if it's revealed or not, so in that sense, it's totally optional. And for sure, enemy locations aren't shown, but do exist, so again, optional. In that sense, having or using a map at all is kinda optional, isn't it?

Climbing towers never really bothered me much, and in some cases, I enjoy it. But didn't AC Syndicate keep the map fuzzy until you climbed the tower in that section?

Maybe they could dress ridiculously everyday? Fake beards, tutus with clown shoes, costumes, that kind of thing?
