Even outside of Treyarch doing it. I despise Activision at this point, they have shown they don't give a shit about their players, so I don't give a shit about any of their games.
Unfortunately as human beings in any line of profession you have your bad apples. I don't hate Cops, but it really bothers the shit out of me when you see one abusing his/her power.
The only thing I can remember that I got in trouble for and it not being stupid on my part, was in kindergarten when I was playing a game with my cousin and I accidentally pulled her hair and made her cry. The Teachers punishment was pulling my hair and making me cry.
The best time I got in trouble because I did something stupid was when I took a milk pouch from the lunch room and saved it for after school when the yellow school bus would take us home. The bus driver did something that bothered me, so when I got off the bus I bit it open and threw it at the back of the bus. Got sent to the Principles office for it, but didn't get into any major trouble for it. Was awesome.
I don't mind all the newer news or 'news' articles, doesn't bother me none. I actually thought the site used to be a bit slow when it came to that and now I'm beginning to check GB out more than usual. GB hasn't had any major change, it's not like the new guys are doing anything else outside of news articles. There are still quick looks, there are still podcasts, they just finished up a duel endurance run. It's a busy time since E3 is coming up.
People like to complain and people don't like change. The guy that wrote that post sounds like a child, no one is forcing you to read any of it. It's becoming 'mediocre' because people are causing a shit storm over something that is really a non-issue. They got people to add a bit more news on the site that -some- people don't like and all of the sudden the site is going down hill because of it, give me a break.
Grave of the Fireflies definitely messed me up. Such a good/sad movie.
This is a documentary and it literally made me depressed 'Dear Zachary'. Time and time again I think about this documentary and it just hits me all over again. I don't want to say it's 'good' (if you saw it, you understand). But if you were to ever watch it, you'd really, really need to prepare yourself, but there is no way of preparing the emotional train that will hit you watching this. But I think it's a story that people should see.
Also don't know if this counts since it's a documentary/real life story.
It's sad that the responses just tend to be sexual innuendo.
Gay people aren't making podcasts/gay gaming sites to separate themselves from the community. It's actually quite the opposite, to let people know we are a community amongst gamers. This type of medium needs to exist for the simple fact that people can go there and feel comfortable amongst other people like them and play games with people who aren't going to give them issue on their sexuality. Unfortunately sexuality matters to people and some responses to this thread should be reason enough why things like a gay podcast or gay gaming sites are made.
