I used to think things like CitKane or Empire where the surprise ending has become a part of pop culture were free from spoiler warnings, but I guess these things will be new to someone, so really what's the point? Ruining endings for other people is funny for a second, but it will piss them off longer than you'll take enjoyment from it. It's the kind of thing that made me buy Portal 2 for fear of spoilers and SPOILER! there's nothing to spoil about Portal 2. I mean, I should be able to enjoy any video game/movie/book/etc. without fear of having the experience ruined at any point in time, but somehow the public attention span dictates for you instead.
People complain about pre-orders being so important to so many companies' marketing plans, but then they say, "Well, I don't care about spoiling it because you should have played it by now." Guess what? Not everyone's life revolves around new releases, and if I want to play Gears of War 3 two years after it comes out because I don't yet own a 360 but assume in the future I'll have the funds for one, then why do you have to go around screaming the spoilers? This is a thing that's bothered me about every single video game website and podcast, including Giantbomb and the Bombcast, and I wish they'd see beyond the myopic viewpoint of their own lives and realize that not everyone can be enjoying every piece of entertainment all of the time.
They hire people who love the ps3 and wii. Wii over a ps3 or xbox is brain damage. Defending the ps3 for games like ratchet and clank is beyond borderline retardation. Long line ups.... Gamestop is not my favourite store. The best thing about it - game insurance.
WTF are you talking about? Ratchet and Clank is awesome!
yeah welcome to 2006, didn't think there were still console wars kids around.
So if I like a game you don't, that makes me a system fanboy? Great.
I like using the middle of my thumbs, it feels comfortable that way. I shouldn't have to adapt to a shitty controller. Which was kinda the point of my original post, it's a shitty controller.
Dude, that's how you use your thumbs on the 360 controller because it's how you've trained yourself to do it. It's not like the 360 controller was the first to ever have analog sticks, and in fact, certainly isn't. Every single game controller since the Atari's joystick has REQUIRED you to learn how to use it. They can't all be exactly the same or else we'd still be using that one.
My point, in case it isn't clear, is that yes you DO have to learn how use the different controller because it's how every video game system has ever ever worked.
Notice how a bunch of people have a gold or silver ribbon around their avatar image? Yeah...
10 000 members x 50$ = 500 000$
There office alone must cost more than that a year.
That means that every two years they are charged a million dollars for their offices, which seems like how much it would cost to buy it. Add in property taxes and utilities, and it's probably high, but half a mill a year? I don't think so.
Is there a way to only show people in games you have? The list is too big to show, and I don't wanna browse through people playing things I don't have.
