@simkas: I think it's a stretch to say that the consequences were "100% not his fault in any way".
He made the video and put it out there. He was the originator of this, and had he not made that video, for the purpose of pranking Harmonix, none of it would have happened.
So I would agree that it's not entirely his fault and that it probably blew up way bigger than he expected or possibly intended, but you can't really absolve him of all responsibility here. That's kind of silly.
Your review didn't really touch on what you thought of the story, but focused mostly on your disappointment with the execution and packaging of the game tech that is serving up the world and story.
Did these shortcomings prevent you from enjoying the story?
I share your feelings about the loading screens and the general "same-ness" to the previous versions, but (for me) the depth of story and the density of events, characters and quests make it all completely forgivable.
I didn't play The Witcher 3 or Dragon Age though so I don't have those experiences to compare this to. I played through Fallout 3 and Fallout: NV a few times each, and I can definitely see myself doing the same with Fallout 4.
