@schizogony: Do you go to the side and shoot at planes and stuff like that? Playing as a mech then turn into an aircraft when you see water? i have it on my Game Boy ADVANCE i will check it out when i get the chance like next week*.
You go upward and I THINK it's all in space (I kinda remember the backgrounds being big sci-fi space structures that are bronze in color, while your mech is a gray or off-white).
I'd play it in a grocery store, which was strange. It was the only grocery store that I'd ever known to have arcade cabinets. It just stuck with me for DECADES because it felt so complex for being an arcade vertical shoot-em-up. And it looked so cool. I used to pretend I WAS that mech while playing in my backyard.
That said, this GBA game of which you speak sounds interesting nonetheless and I do look forward to hearing more about it. I like pretty much any game where you're a mech that transforms.
EDIT: I think this might be it. That cabinet looks very familiar.
And I think they're talking about haunting-me strategies (which always fail).
Then I just blast my Taylor Swift CD and I'm instantly in the New York of my mind.
Am I supposed to click "Allow this post to be an answerable question?" because that's confusing (as is all of Giant Bomb ever since Dan Ryckert took over).
