Hoo boy. I'm in the target demographic for this sort of game. I dig co-op style games like this and I revel in open worlds often but this seems empty to me. It also just looks like a mess. Yikes, Arkane. Y I K E S.
Man.. that intro music is a miss for me, folks. Wait. I think I get it now. It feels like the Giant Bomb theme remixed but then passed through a filter known as "CyberMania94.exe".
Other than that, I am so glad Jess and Jan are in on these deliberations (Silent Hill-Heads let's fucking gooooo). I appreciated Jess going the FUCK in on Deathloop too because I've bounced off it a few times now and it's things like the UI, the specific bits she mentioned that keep pushing me away from it.
The Best Letter bit was solid, enjoyed the riffs and goofs.
Other thing that made me absolutely feel horrified was seeing Jan just continue blasting the already dead faceless kid early on. All that ammo..please stop. Jan, you monster.
@TechnoSyndrome: Oh. I've never really read any of the manga. Just the shows for me. I don't mind that they did that really. Just kinda shocked me to see Freiza IMMEDIATELY.
I do find it interesting that we see Frieza so much sooner in Kai than we do in the original cut. I know it's supposed to hew closer to the manga so it's interesting that this existential threat that's far beyond even the Saiyans coming to Earth is out there too.
