No he didn't. He did however say that a standalone version is where it's headed inevitably headed. This is the first "Official" announcement where it actually says there is a standalone coming.
And I would do it again. I've gotten my monies worth 10 fold since buying Arma 2 for DayZ. Plus a new appreciation for hyper realistic shooters like Arma. No regrets here and I'm not alone.
I don't think anyone said it was impossible four months ago- In fact I'm pretty sure everyone I know, and everyone who posts here said it was inevitable.
Wasn't it just released to the public about four months ago? I thought it was, and assumed he meant that's what people said before it was released.
Either way, I was really happy when I saw this posted on twitter. :D DayZ is the only game I'm semi addicted to atm. lol
It's not cheap, but I've had this sucker for years and I still love it.
I got that last week(got it for $60 on amazon), and am loving everything about it. Solid, and feels great when typing.
Have been using the Steelseries Merc for about a year. I liked the game pad part of it.(moved to a nostromo) Worked good (other than the software being kinda crappy), but nice to be back to a keyboard that doesn't have all the keys merged into the numpad.
There's a fix that worked for me and a few others on the Telltale forums. This has been extremely frustrating but the chapter is worth the wait.
The game stores a "prefs.prop" in two places. One in: C:\Users\___\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead And the other in: D:\STEAM\steamapps\common\the walking dead\Pack\default Or if you don't have the Steam version, its somewhere in your game DIR. Do backups before overwriting anything. Copy the prefs.prop file from your game's DIR folders, and overwrite it in your Documents\TTG\TWD folder Go in game and load the save game with your finished EP1. Switch to EP2 in the chapter select and run it.
Yup, thats the same one that worked for me. Was just about to post it. :P
(Note: the second one for most people, will most likely be in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\the walking dead\Pack\default" (without the (x86) if on 32bit systems) instead of the D drive like the original person showed in fix.)
Yup, getting the same thing. There's a thread on the telltale forums about it. A lot of people are having the problem as well. Hopefully they figure it out fast.
