The Following is a letter I wrote to the..uh...whatever he/she is who "locked down" my last blog for not adding text to the video I posted. Yes. A video I made. It appears that being "locked down" means that no one is able to comment on the blog post. So since I couldn't defend myself in the same way he came after me, I had to send a PM, and here is the transcript.

"Dear...uh...Hamz,
Ok, what the hell is going on? You "locked down" my blog? Who are you and what makes it your business to do that? Should I assume you've phished my account and report you to the GB staff? Let's start out assuming you didn't, and then we'll go from there.

I post a blog on my own, personal Giantbomb page, and I get gamer Gestapo stopping by to make sure I don't post blogs in certain ways? Who are you people anyway? Are you even actual GB employees?

What business is it of yours the way I post my own blog? Are we not allowed to post works of our own on our blogs? If videos without explanations aren't allowed, then why provide the ability to embed something--especially considering it's nearly impossible to add text after someone has posted a video?

I did find it amazing how you were able to enter the mind of this humble GB patron and decipher how I posted that without text because I "wanted everyone else to do the work." That's exactly why I did that! It had nothing to do with the broken interface or the fact that there's no point in explaining something that's supposed to be funny; it either is funny or it isn't. But it wasn't that, obviously. You're a master of understanding how the minds of people work, aren't you?

This telepathy stuff is fascinating. Hey, let me try: You have nothing else to do in your life, so you patrol gaming websites looking for things you don't like so you can screw with people who did nothing to you. You do it so you'll feel like you have control over something. Wow! Explaining other people's thought processes is fun! Thank you for turning me on to this phenomenon...and turning me off from Giantbomb.com, which I mistakenly believed to be a sort of "free" gaming site. Silly me! ;)

Actually... I don't have to explain myself to you, who the-hell-ever you are. If you do actually hold some sway over things at GB, then I'm glad to finally find out that GB isn't worth my time. I'll blog elsewhere and probably switch to IGN or something for gaming news.

I thought I'd left the game site Nazism behind when I followed Jeff over from Gamespot.

I guess dicks will find a way to fuck with people anyway, won't they?

With all the sincerity of a thoroughly humbled game site peon in your glorious Gestapo presence,
Sestren  "

So bye, Giantbomb. Having no clue that GB would be just as rigorously fascist a site as Gamespot, I came to Giantbomb when Jeff Gerstmann left GS. Oh well.

I'm out.

@Suicidal_SNiper:
Huh?
"U-Toob Spam"?
I made this video. Thought people might find it funny. If don't think so, you don't have to watch it. I have no idea what you're even talking about.

Ryan....comparing the genius of Sunny to the dull, left-skewed boredom offered by South Park and its characters, such as Cartman (who has inspired almost as many abysmal impressions as Austin Powers).

For shame. "Nightman," Ryan. Nightman. Need I say more?

Why the H does it have to be on a disc?! There's not a downloadable....um...anything that can make it work? I'll stick with my 360 Netflix, thanks.

This...and Blu-ray on the Xbox...it's all leading to a New World Order! The world government will issue consoles produced by the amalgamation created when MicroSony became one via a giant merger. We'll all wait in 10-day-long lines to play the PlayStation 360. Scary times ahead! Paranoia! o_0

Think about it this way: Everyone suggests what you have in this post--no more hard media. The current console generation's storage capacity peaks at around 160gb. That's only about 3 BD's. So you could have three to (let's say around) seven movies on your hard drive. Of those who buy movies, who owns fewer than ten? Let's say the next gen consoles kick HDD capacity all the way up to a terabyte for games and movies. You got enough room for 20 to 40 movies/games (assuming a movie or game fits on one Blu-ray Disc). That would be fine for some people, but certainly not all! All digital seems a decade or so away. As storage increases, so does storage requirement. We're a long way away from that sort of thing.

Would this make me start? No. I've never needed to see a movie so badly that I couldn't wait a few days for it to arrive in the mail via Netflix. Especially at 6 to 8 bones a pop.

@ninjakiller: I'd never defend PETA, being a biologist, because their stances are based completely on feelings as opposed to anything empirical. However, after reading the linked article, it seems their qualm here is specifically the killing of these rabbits rather than the burning itself. The gruesome-sounding story of grinding up the carcasses and burning them probably piqued their interest, but I think they don't want the bunnies killed.

They have probably not considered, however, the implications of rabbit overpopulation.

PETA is horseshit; don't get me wrong. They complained that Obama killed a fly on TV, for example. I don't think they've figured out how to reconcile their ultraliberal animal rights beliefs with the more unconsciously liberal subscription to science-as-god that being leftist nearly requires...since it's impossible to do so. It probably hasn't occurred to them that they don't make sense.

I'm the only human in the world not into CoD, but that's a good deal. I'd buy the bundle then trade the game in. This deal seems like a win for anyone without a 360.
