I love how quickly they've been released, though its sort of a shame they have no arcade or story mode, but hell so many other characters to go through those modes with I think I'll be okay

According to gamefaqs Cave Story has a release for Wii in Europe do I dare dream it to be true. Or perhaps I should look for the PC version, I wonder. 10th of December could be a Christmas come early for my poor old Wii.

I was just reading a few comments on the new Dante for Ninja Theory's new DMC and man people are still pretty.....well very angry. Part of me doesn't really understand, much like Diablo 3 before it, to get so enraged by something that isn't even out yet, let alone much game play footage. Yet the thought occurred that unlike a lot of media, videogames involve a great deal more time investment and with that time to develop attachment to a character. In a long running TV series if your favourite character was killed off, or the actor changed it is often hard to take, but Dante like a lot of characters in a 3rd person games, devotes the camera almost singly upon them for the entire game. TV and movies will have a star but they need others to interact with and bounce their characteristics back and forth off of. In videogames not only does the player have a direct link via the controller of their new favourite character the interaction is often with enemies and cut scenes, the rest is between the in game character and the player. So I can understand why people feel so connected to Dante, hell I love the series as well. What we love we have gained together with the character through hours and hours of game play (though I am aware DMC 4 had you playing as Nero for a good chunk).

When all is said and done I would rather judge the changes to Dante when the game is released, I will give Ninja Theory the benefit of the doubt (and if Brad said Enslaved is good I'm willing to believe him). Hell, before Bayonetta I thought I was done with 3rd person action games so I say wait and see.

@scarace360:
Tee Hee, thanks for the comment, you are quite right, started to join guilds has made the game a whole lot more fun, and the new dungeon finder is a godsend so I don't have much of an excuse anymore

After watching the quick look of the Wow Cataclysm it hit me that I had never seen anything of World of Warcraft beyond level 30. Once the next expansion hit all the old content would be gone for good, and though perhaps it didn't really matter the bug to play once again bite me. Back in the early years of Wow I had started an Undead Shadow Priest on the recommendation of friends who were playing at the time. I started to hate it around about level 20 but continued as best I could up until level 30 at which point most of my friends just up and quit.

Chatting to somebody at work they suggested I try another class, namely the Warlock and Hunter. However never doing things by half’s what started as two characters jumped into seven. Even though playing as a Blood Elf Warlock and Draenei Hunter was more fun than Priest I wanted to try every class I could. Before I knew it I began juggling.....

Human Paladin

Undead Mage
Draenei Shaman
Night Elf Druid
Blood Elf Priest - What can I say I love healing people

Funny thing was despite the ease of which quests are done I never really got to see a whole deal. I tried to get as much rest exp out of each character and now the changes have begun. But I don't regret starting again, I have learnt a whole bunch and now I know the Shaman is my favourite class but hey I only just got a character to level 31 so, now I can really get to see something brand new.

Have been playing a bunch of RTS games, well two but got me thinking about music. From there I started remembering the first PC RTS I'd played Command and Conquer. It was a world removed from all the turn based stratergy I'd played up until that point and I am ashamed to admit I never completed the first game. Looking around I realise you can get the soundtrack for this game on Itunes but man, these songs take me back.

 What I love about this song is the catchy nature and random vocal clips, reminds me of DJ shadow or Rob Zombie. Its still pretty fun but  the soundtrack as a whole is dare I say incredibly 90s, but somehow still works even today. At the same time I worry if I look up anymore 1990s PC videogame soundtracks I'll realise just how lame I really was back then. Though Hell March will stand the test of time I'm sure of it.
And to close me out....
