It's nice to see Watchmen making somebody's list. Even if you're not a fan of the graphic novel or found yourself lost in the film adaptation, Jackie Earle Haley's performance as Rorschach is among the best I've seen this year, same goes for Jeffrey Dean Morgan as the comedian.

Seeing the Hurt Locker was the most fun I've had in a movie theater this year.  It even beat watching Avatar in 3D.

Star Trek was good, and I thought that Coraline was awesome (I saw it in 3D).

I haven't seen a lot of movies this year and the ones I have were disappointments.  Even Star Trek and Up didn't move me much.  But, it wasn't entirely without merit.  I did enjoy 500 Days of Summer, Coraline and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.  Now, the latter was not a good movie by any stretch of the word, but it followed Wolverine: Origins and Transformers 2, so by comparison, it was a gem.  I hope to see The Hangover and District 9 before year's end, so maybe things will turn around.  Maybe Inglourious Basterds, too although I don't have many expectations for it.  I'm not a rabid fan of Tarantino's work, but that might be a positive for the film.

Star Trek is about 11th.

Besides your list missing Star Trek, its a good one! Though I think there could be a couple that came out yesterday on Christmas that could be there now too. Star Trek though, has to be on that list. Its so, so great!

Fantastic Mr. Fox may sail toward the top of your list once you see it.  Too bad it's already gone from theaters.
 
Others I enjoyed: Where the Wild Things Are, Drag Me to Hell, Coraline and Up.  All very much worth seeing.
