I resubbed in the middle of WoD, quit, then resubbed again for Legion. US Alliance, probably won't play much until the expansion actually releases, but looking forward to it.

Anyone who has played Musashi and didn't love it is on some crazy drugs. It was a wonderfully insane product of the times and I honestly adore every cheese eating, figure collecting, giant adventuring bit of it.

Well, except for the steam tree. That was garbage.

Yeah, I'm not sure we'll catch Bendr. Ryan has gotten a ton of donations in the past hour or so, but it never closes the gap. Can't usurp a dumb Futurama reference, I guess.

Well, Mega Man's 25th anniversary officially ended yesterday. Capcom started it a year late since they deemed Street Fighter's 25th more deserving of glory, delivered a fan game that did some okay things but was otherwise unspectacular, then dropped a ton of merch and Virtual Console releases of old titles before letting all pretense of a celebration dry up a few months ago. When it started, Capcom Unity was singing about how this would be an amazing year long thing and that they had some secret plans in the works.

It ended up being a very slow fumbling process that didn't go anywhere besides some T-Shirts and Remix Albums. If that's not disappointing, I don't know what is.

I think the amount of polish going into BF4 will make it a really spectacular game. The issue is that BF3 was kind of rushed out to go up against MW3 and had a bunch of problems that 4 seems to be solving, instead of making a revolutionary leap in the franchise. That's not a completely terrible thing though.

Also, it's what we should learn to expect from here on out. Battlefield is an EA cash cow that they are going to kick out the door every two years, so the changes between each game won't be very extreme, but hopefully it won't suffer from the yearly Call of Duty effect.

I'm not offended that the Rock isn't around, it's not like anyone should have expected him to be. There's no way the WWE can match the money he makes filming movies, so he can only show up when his schedule is clear or whatever. Plus he was injured at Wrestlemania, so he might not be showing up for a while.

Anyway, it's probably for the best he's a part-timer, if he has to show up at all. The Rock is still good in small spurts, but he's clearly not the man in the ring that he was 13 years ago (and even then he was more or less the prototype to what Cena is now, just more entertaining). I'd be pretty sick of him if he was on Raw every night, I think. Right now, it's not so bad except for the fact that he's taking away the Wrestlemania main event whenever he's in the show.

Mostly men arguing with mostly other men over whether or not tits are okay to have in a video game, which is maybe the most absurd thing I've ever seen. Meanwhile, the majority of women are not giving a shit and are rightfully more concerned about things like being paid equally and not having legislative bodies draft laws that dictate what they can and cannot do with their bodies. Even within the games industry, the initial push against sexism was supposed to be about the mistreatment female employees ran into while in the industry.

However, it has long since been hijacked about whether or not fictional depictions of attractive women in video games (and only video games for some strange reason) are damaging to feminism or something equally ridiculous. I haven't seen a single major story about women in the gaming industry in months, only dumb shit like this and directly gender swapping Link and Zelda. So good job Proud Internet Warriors, you have gladly followed Kotaku into a war over what people are allowed to enjoy in their free time. I hope you enjoy bashing your head against a wall.

I am completely devastated with emotions right now. My brain can't even function. As long as this means that we get more Rorie and Dave, I guess it's fine? But shit.

Best of luck in the future Dave, you'll always be Lord Duder.
