"So you pay $55 for a used copy and then spend an extra $5 on these maps that are free with a new copy. You end up spending the same amount you would if you bought it new. So what is the point?"

You pay $55 for a used game?  What the hell?

I don't think you totally understand the concept of saving money by buying used games...

I rented Fable II, beat it to satisfaction, went through the endings and didn't hesitate to return it to Blockbuster.  Honestly, good game, not great.  What made me kind of peeved was that all the way during the game, you were being told how much stronger, bigger and badder the heroes of Old were.
Indeed, I remember how physically huge and powerful my character in Fable: The Lost Chapters had become (bigger than Thunder).  Compared to my hero after the story ended in Fable II, who was still considerably smaller than town sheriffs even though my physical stats were maxed out...

The entire time while playing Fable II, it simply made me want to go back and play the original Fable.  I never really felt like a "hero" during Fable II.  Did anyone else feel this way?

Side Note: To anyone who enjoyed Fable II, you'll love Fable: TLC (if you can find a copy).

"Only cheap people think 5 dollars is alot of money. If the game was halo and the DLC was a new master chief outfit or something retarded like that all you people would go beg your parents for the money.

*COUGH, HALO SUCKS, COUGH*"
Cheap people?  How about people who know the value of a dollar?
If the DLC was worth it, then yeah, wonderful.  Costumes for $5?  Rip-off.

Its about getting your money's worth, whatever the product.  As someone mentioned earlier in the thread, buying Shivering Isles for $15 is justifiable - buying horse armor for even $1 isn't...

"I think the deal was definitely the better ending. I thought it was pretty powerful and it had quite an impact on me. In all honesty, I really did not expect what happened when I chose that path. It was a great moment in the game, though in truth I imagine it's not the "real ending". I'd like to think Niko wouldn't work with Rascalov again after all he had done. I don't think Niko's that stupid, however, he had shown throughout the game that he'd do pretty much anything for money, so I don't know. You get really attached to some of the characters in that game..."

I also imagine that Deal is not the "real ending" - hopefully we'll see in the downloadable content...

Hey everyone - I'm moving from North America (Canada) to the UK in about two months.

Just wondering if its even possible for me to head over with my 360 or not - are the games there region coded differently than what I'd find here?

Thanks guys.

Is there anywhere other than the two Perseus and the Modo store to buy clothing for Niko?  I originally thought there'd be far more considering how many more options there were available to us in San Andreas...  Am I just missing them?

Which was your favourite ending?  Revenge or Deal?

I've just finished both (yes, a little late), but mine had to be Deal simply because it was so much more satisfying tracking down Dimitri and having a rather epic chase throughout Liberty city (though frustrating as hell) than doing so with Peg (he seemed like a minor character at the end).
