How to Quit Smoking Pt. 22

52 days have passed since my last cigarette. Since I'm writing this blog entry without much preparation and forethought it will be very brief. Gamingwise I'm trying to finish Starcraft: Insurrection which isn't really bad but doesn't come even close to the quality of the Blizzard campaigns. And if you decide to try them out be warned that the difficulty borders the land of frustration.  
The other Game i'm playing is Chrono Trigger. Although I'm playing this since about 5 month the game timer is at 28 hours. I reached the point where I have access to the flying time machine which I dubbed TRVLR and I'm planning to defeat the Queen inside the Dark Omen now. 
So there you have it. I have a feeling that this time I'll beat the hundred day mark of not smoking.

How to quit smoking PT. 21

Well... here I am again. I effortlessy cruising trough my 22nd day without smoking a cigarette. After the last one I have smoked that is. Watching the soccer championship and eyoing the superb weather and the overall good Aachen atmosphere which always comes up when the weekend starts ;) 
Gaming wise I have reached the 3rd Terran singleplayer campaign mission of Brood War. I totally forgot how cool that game is. I can't wait for Wings of Liberty to come out so I can lay my hands on it.  
In private life besides gaming my wife told me that she wanted the man back who she has married which meant I had to shave and get a haircut. I've let myself pretty much go since she wasn't home for over 2 and a half months and I don't have to handle any customers at work.

Yeah... totally different person. But I like myself looking all wild and hobo more than this ;) 
Well... South Africa just scored a goal against Mexico and I have to give the game more attention now so I leave you with a video about my last saturday. Until next time.

How to quit smoking PT. 20

Hi there. It's been a while since I last made one of these. I thougt "Why call a blog  How to quit smoking" but smoke. My mom always told me not to lie so I didn't write anything during my fallback to unhealthy habits. But now I'm back on track again going really strong through my 14th day in a row of not smoking. As always I'm a really lazy ass blogwriter so this isn't segmented by headers or has many picutures in it.   
My gaming life (which this really should be about) at the time consists of playing Starcraft and Starcraft: Brood War to get into the mood for Star Craft 2. I'm planning on getting the collectors edition if it's not too expensive. That and playing emulated Snes games over the Internet with my good friend Simon. And the one or other hour of Chrono Trigger on my PSP when my better half is blocking my computer for Voip-calling her mother in Cameroon. That's about it. What's left are some random videos I made myself at the last nerdfest I was.

Still out to get money for beer from the ATM. I pointed my cam at them and they thought I was going to take a picture :D 
  
  Here we got ready to roleplay surrounded by a bunch of tabletop Warhammer nerds.

Four and a Half Hours?

I'll make this quick: 
Best part: Vinny plaing the guitar and singing (at least I think it was him). Yes, Giant Bomb staff knows Pink Floyd (a definite plus). 
Saddest part: Ryan fighting to whitness the end of XBL (poor guy). 
Worst part: None. It definatly wasn't something where my eyes were glued to the screen, but having it run in the background while I cleaned up the apartement for my better half's impending return, was really entertaining. 
 
The whole thing reminded me of the sessions I use to have with my friends right up to the guitar plaing and singing while playing video games and doing other things that aren't meant to be for kids ;)

This will be short since my life is as uneventful as always. If I count correctly I am now on day 36 of not smoking. Hell yeah. Achieved the first month. This calls for a ciga.... uhm no. Also, I'm almost through with Lexx: The Dark Zone. Final season, last 5 episodes to go. And the episodes get sillier and sillier.
