I got the three red lights last weekend.  Went into a panic, freaked out, thought my warranty was up.  Found out it was still good for the RROD, did a dance.  Now I've sent it out and just have to wait 2-3 weeks.  Time to go buy Heavy Rain for PS3, I suppose.

Madden's Ultimate Team mode is strangely enticing in that it offers you the chance to build, well, the ULTIMATE TEAM.  If only it weren't so damn hard to get coins.  21,000 coins for a platinum card pack?  I'll never win that many games!
 
"Oh, but there's an easier way," EA says in a hushed tone.  "Step into this dark alley and look at all these coins."  Sure, okay...no!  I will not pay real money for your stupid fake coins, EA!  I won't!
 
I might buy some Doritos to get promo cards though...

157 events down, 63 to go.  That includes about half the endurance races.  So far I've only hired a driver for one of those.  I have too many R-class races left because I don't like those as much.  There's less car customization in racing classes.  I also avoid the events that I don't have a car for yet, because I'm saving up for a Panoz but won't buy one until I have so many credits that spending 1.2 million credits ain't no thang, yo.  Also I can't decide whether to get the cool American flag Panoz or the other one with arbitrarily 1-point-higher PI score and custom paintjobs available for it.

It's been ~3 weeks since I got the game and I have 99 events to go, if I counted right.  That means 120 or so done.  I thought I was closer than that, but I know I'm past halfway anyhow.  I gave up on trying to make the races fair and just started using R1 cars in the open events and blasting past the F class crapmobiles to get the races over with.  Also, I hate racing against M. Rossi in the Veyron.  It's so hard to beat him on a fast track, even if he does go off the road a lot.

I have to S-rank Forza 3 because it's totally attainable.  It doesn't have any achievements for beating the game on the ridiculously hard difficulty setting that you only unlock after beating it once on normal.  It doesn't require you to get to the top of some online leaderboard or win 100 online games.  It's totally reachable, but man, gold medals in every event is gonna take FOREVER.  FOR. EV. ER.
 
Then again, I've only had it for a week and a half and I'm already in season 6.
