360 version still the best version huh? I guess I can always play that on the Xbone.
The 360 version has multiple cutscenes entirely removed from the game due to XBLA download limitations. Also the cheesy credits music was changed. I wouldn't consider it the best version, but it is the most convenient way to play the original (or as close to it) on a current gen system.
To save space, all full motion video sequences were removed from the North American version of the game. They have since been returned to the Japanese version, which is approximately 25 megabytes larger. While the unpatched version still features "I Am The Wind" as the game's closing music, a later patch replaced it with "Admiration Towards the Clan" – the closing song in Castlevania: Lament of Innocence due to licensing reasons and a distorted background image was fixed in one ending.
@jeff yes, the 360 release is playable on Xbox One. Though I transferred my save back to 360 after checking it out and achievements no longer popped so not sure what happened there.
Vinny needs to continue. The second play through is well worth it and what comes after even that is some of that old school shit he is looking for. Keep going! Don't stop for nothin'.
Woah, rad. Just threw these together as a dumb fun thing. Never even considered they'd be spotlighted. Will have to finish up the rest of the crew.
For the record, if you've never used the XCOM 2 character creator, it is incredibly limited. Consider these the action figures that look just close enough to not overstep the line of required likeness rights.
Phones also have batteries that rarely last more than 2 years, screens that shatter and are not always easy or cheap to replace, and all sorts of reasons that people replace them quickly.
A 2-3 year cycle where they retire hardware after several iterations have passed is a good decision and proven model that works. People who want to use a console the way they always have, buying hardware and using it for 5+ years, then getting a new one, are covered and nothing changes for them. They don't have to worry about the battery dying or the screen breaking. People who want the latest thing and get the new iteration every time it drops are also covered.
