  • Sublime production values coupled with memorable sequences of storytelling and gameplay. I loved every minute of this game. It was my favorite movie of the past few years and one of my favorite games.

  • I loved the mechanics of the first game, but it never had the variety to stay interesting. For me, ACII has it all. I enjoyed the story of Enzio and how it intertwined with the great conspiracy of the franchise. The relatively 'low-impact' exploration allowed me to interact with a world and choose when I had confrontation.

  • Wow. I did not expect to give a care about a comic book action hero game from a relatively unknown developer. When everyone was raving over this game I was just waiting for them to get over the graphics and their love for Batman and turn on the game in a minute once the allure wore off. That never happened. This is a brilliant game. Mixing the best elements of Metroid, God of War, Half-Life, Eternal Darkness and Gears of War (Resident Evil 4) to create the new benchmark for licensed games.

  • I love Metroidvania games. There are not enough of them. This is one of the best.

  • I probably had higher expectations for Dragon Age than I should have. The Baldur's Gate games are 2 of my favorite games of all time. I was disappointed with the fast travel, random encounters when traveling and the sparsity of life in towns, the Lord of the Rings story and some of their visual choices. However, on the whole, the 50 hours I put into Dragon Age was not a waste. On the PC, with the top down view, the game feels like Baldur's Gate reborn. The combat is fantastic. And while it doesn't dethrone the mighty Baldur's Gate from my top games of all time, it was certainly one of the best RPG's of the past few years.

  • Hollywood blockbuster action. Addictive multiplayer. I will continue to play this game until the next IW game.

  • In an age where the platforming game seems to steadily decline as games become more "mature". Ratchet epitomizes what Pixar seems to accomplish for movies. Games can be enjoyed by gamers of all ages. The Clank time puzzles are wonderful. Taking all of the abilities you have in Braid and mixing them together to create brainbusting puzzles that are extremely satisfying. 60fps with a full 720 frame buffer (take that Modern Warfare). An amazing soundtrack and 7.1 PCM audio. This game delivers on all fronts.

  • Best racing sim ever. Period.

  • I love electronic music, and while mash-ups wouldn't have been my first choice, I still enjoy the soundtrack and at it's heart it's still electronic music. I feel that DJ Hero is the most participatory music game ever. It's far more challenging than Rock Band on any instrument. But what that allows is a feeling that every move you make on the mixing board actually translates into audio. A great game that I hope gains traction and garners far more DLC.
