First of all, if you have ANYTHING bad to say about the story, you're literally just picking.  Either you don't know about it (by not reading the books [and let me tell you, I've read most of them, and they're GREAT] or not paying any attention), or you're just looking for nasty comments to make about WoW...after all, it is ever so popular to hate things that a lot of people like.  Also, the story is HUGE.  If you want to know more about it, you have to figure it out on your own.  If you don't want to, then that's too bad, it really is a lot of fun.
 
I do agree partially about races losing their personality via class crossovers.  I don't see how a Tauren can possibly be a priest, but that might be because I'm so used to playing BC and WotLK. 
 
Regardless, I'm extremely excited.  I think what they've done to entice new players and allow old players to do something completely new is REALLY awesome.  YAY.
