Issues with how strong defense is aside (and Makoto being horribly neutered), SSFIV has amazing value for its low, low price and a is really solid fighting game.

Monster Hunter plus sane camera controls plus easier-to-access online = YES. If there'd been the same amount of content as in MHFU, it would've been even better.

Take (almost) every improvement from P4, add to P3, along with the choice of a female protagonist and you have one of the best JRPGs ever.

I haven't finished SMB yet, but holy shit, this is 2D-platforming distilled to its finest core of sadistic/masochistic joy. SMB would no doubt score even higher if I felt more strongly about pure 2D platformers.

Most entertaining sandbox I've played this year. It's like AC2, but better.

Balance and system mechanics issues aside, BBCS is great fun, and, unlike SSFIV, has really solid netcode. Some of the joke endings in the story mode are also hilarious.
