Both of my most memorable ones are from '08:

12-09-2008 - The crew have to do a second take of the Bombcast and hilarity ensues.

10-08-2008 - They visit Akihabara on their second day in Tokyo for TGS. Japan being hella Japanese.

Edit: I forgot about 06-03-2008 - Vinny and Brad's first Bombcast and the taste-tasting of Djungelvrål. Classic episode.

Doesn't matter if you paid them for a new Endurance Run. If the feeling ain't right and their hearts aren't in it, then the product won't be as entertaining. Paraphrasing Jeff, the right game has to come along and they all might just one day look at each other and go, "Yep, it's time." You can't force this stuff. 
 
And I agree with Blair and Rannos22's sentiments; there's something missing right now at the heart of Giant Bomb and I think it might be regular video features that made us fall in love with the site in the first place, like the Endurance Run, TANG, Video Things, etc. The Bombcast, TNT, and the Happy Hour are great features, but as a whole I feel like they don't entirely capture Giant Bomb's... quirk... or uniqueness.
 
Hopefully they have some awesome new features up their sleeve to grab us back in in the near future.

It would be pretty awesome if they premiered a new theme at PAX East in front of the live audience.

I'd just like to say that I really appreciate you doing these translations! I enjoy reading the producer's thought processes behind the game and the themes surrounding it. Really interesting and insightful.

It's like I'm on a rollercoaster of emotion. It was hilarious when Brad and Vinny realized that they weren't recording the Bombcast and then it just got sad when Dave left. Even though I'm sure that everyone was in on it, just the fact that I'm imagining Jeff sitting all alone in the podcast room, sighing after each reading, makes this super depressing in a way. If this entire thing is an act, then Mr. Gerstmann, sir, you are a great radio actor (and director).

Yeah, same here. Tried switching from Firefox to Chrome. Turned off my laptop then came back about an hour later, still not working. It hasn't been working for me ever since their announcement of restarting the chat around ~1-2pm PDT.

Nope, it's because a major update was just released and the servers are getting hammered. Keep trying! :D
