@toma2598: That's me all the time. I can sit and waste days off checking forums and reading game news but I can only seem to play them for a few minutes here and there and I don't know why. I feel a lack of energy or something, It could be that I am playing alone and could usually spend more time if I was playing while talking to someone in a party chat or playing against or with someone.

I managed south park for 3 hours but I had to keep leaving the machine and must have had the console on all day but had only progressed those 3 hours. Same will happen with Dark Souls 2 and Titanfall. I will die a few times or play a few rounds then I will struggle to pick up the pad and spend more time looking at what other people think of it or just looking blankly at the computer or tv. I still go to work and everything else but all my free time just feels like the hours are running away and if I have a day to spare I will want to play games or finish something like south park while I like so far but for the reasons mentioned, I end up sitting waiting for updates on sites like this or watching tv shows out the corner of my vision while I sit at the computer for the majority of the day.

That sucks. Buying things from overseas can be costly and calculating things like postage and other handling costs is a put off. I am not Microsoft's biggest fan either and would agree that TITANFALL doesn't particularly look next gen but I am more or less getting the system because I would have done anyway as I am sure when they iron out the issues they are having, it should be a good system that offers something different just like the Wii U or PS4. I do hope that TITANFALL turns out to be fun for more than a few weeks as I don't plan on getting any of the other games that are out right now and decided to pick up Dark Souls 2 for 360 and might get INFAMOUS SECOND SON if it does well with the reviewers.

I have been thinking about getting an Xbox One for months but held off until today when I decided to order the Xbox One - TITANFALL bundle which was at a reduced price through Gamestop.co.uk who I haven't shopped with before. They are selling it for £369.98 which seemed reasonable to me.

Have any of you finally went ahead and ordered one because of the slight price reduction or was it simply because TITANFALL is finally coming out?

I wouldn't say I bought the console for TITANFALL as I do have an interest in other Xbox exclusives and it will be good to join people I know who got one at launch but I hope it has a smooth launch and that it has good support in the coming months.

Are there any great games on the Marketplace worth looking at? I am interested in playing Killer Instinct but don't know if there's much else on it right now?

I forgot about that. It's probably worse than the circle-pad pro.

The lack of analog control was the biggest issue. When you go from that version and play the original on the N64 it is like night and day. The 3DS would give them the opportunity of getting the controls right this time.

@mocbucket62: F-Zero would be cool. I thought we would have seen one back on the original Wii after the release of Excite Truck. I thought it was a no brainer to have a motion control F-Zero with the Wii Remote on it's side. I would by it if they decided to put the Gamcube one on to Wii U. For now I am happy playing F-Zero on my 3DS and might buy it in the Wii U shop too.

@superfriend: I think a Mario 64 remake wouldn't do any harm to Wii U sales. If they put a lot of effort in then I would bet good money that they'd raise the profile of the console and put it into the mindset of people who may not be aware of the system. To be honest, a Mario 64 remake would probably do more for them and increase the user base more so than any of these games that have come to Wii U as of right now. It happened to an extent with the re-release of Wind Waker.

To an extent there is an overreliance on old franchises but I think they can and do make enough changes to warrant continuing these well known series. If I have one criticism of Nintendo, it is that they don't make enough original games these days but to their credit they have so many franchises that they have built up over the years -- none of their competitors can match them in terms of exclusive offerings. Saying that, Nintendo don't seem to have any support which is why they will suffer apart from those people who love their games and know what to expect with Nintendo consoles today. I don't see an abundance of new franchises being created by the other big two but they do happen to have a lot of developers putting new series and games on their systems.

I agree. Even though I own a Wii and could set up the motion sensor to play Wii games on the Wii U, I always decide not to because of the controller. I even bought Twilight Princess when it first came out on Wii and gave up because I preferred a traditional control method. I feel there would have been a better chance of me finishing that game if I had bought the Gamecube version. As for Skyward Sword, I bought that on cheap but again I wasn't that into playing it on my Wii U with that control system. If they added the option to play it with a proper gamepad then I would be more likely to give it a shot.

Don't get me wrong, the motion controls work for Twilight Princess and the Galaxy games but it's the fact the Wii Remote is not great when you have to keep putting batteries in them or buy a charge kit, that and the fact that it can be uncomfortable playing long games like Zelda. The biggest thing that annoyed me with the Wii was that you couldn't plug your classic controller into the console directly so you had to have it connected to a Wii Remote therefore using batteries. Crazy decision. At least they have been more sensible with the Wii U and made it's Pro Controller a USB plug in. I just need to buy one now!

@crimsonavenger: I would like that too as I never had it. It always appealed to me but I never got a chance to play it or new anyone with it. The new Donkey Kong game is great and a welcome challenge when most other games like it hold the players hand. I only play it in short bursts but its rewarding when you manage to collect everything in a level or beat your time. Probably my best game for the system so far although I haven't opened up my Wind Waker HD yet.
