@ohagan: That's one of the questions I have about doing this. A book a week is doable for a group if we're talking about Philip K Dick or Kurt Vonnegut Jr, but if we ever want to dip into David Foster Wallace or Thomas Pynchon it will have to be slower than that. It could also be on a book to book basis. We'll see what the group votes once we get to that point.

I recently bought a Sony X810C 55" and I love it. Not great for high light rooms but everything else is great if thats not a problem for you. Low input lag, great picture, no motion blur, adjustable interpolating, and the upscaler is fantastic. I played Witcher 3 on it at 1080 with AA completely off and couldnt see any stairstepping, unlike how it looks on my Asus monitor at same settings. It can do 120hz at 1080 but as my 780ti doesnt have hdmi 2.0 I was unable to test it. Plus its only like $900 right now which compared to what else is out there is pretty low.

Played for 4 hours. No idea if its any good or not.

Knowing. I really dug that film. Then the last 15 minutes happened. Dear lord...

Having given too much of my life to League and Dota already, Paragon didnt do much for me. Not enough new or interesting that would make me jump ship.

Maybe it would make me more upset if I hadnt put myself thru the ringer of Dota and Starcraft for years. This game is straight up relaxing compared.

Exactly what I was thinking. Death Grips did this kind of thing already a year or two ago but to a way crazier level. Basically pulled a full ouroboros on their fans. It was just comic book silly for a good 10-12 months there. Anthony Fantano aka TheNeedleDrop explained what they did.

This might be useless so sorry in advance, but maybe make sure how you are transmitting the signal is capable of doing what you want. I learned that my receiver is incapable of transmitting a 4k signal even though my tv and gpu can, and my gpu can output 120hz at 1080 thru dvi but not hdmi even though my tv can handle it.

I know these are COMPLETELY different situations, but I'm merely saying it might be worth it to look into what your signal chain can handle.
