Sounds good to me, resident evil 5 was pretty average. I am hoping for more survival horror, but we know that isnt happening.

Trust me, as a college student myself I feel your hurt. I dont even have my ps3 up at school anymore because of how little time I have for games. I only play games on weekends early in the morning, or late at night. If I am lucky I will have a few hours free during the week, and when I do I end up playing games that dont require a lot of time to play like super meat boy. Money isnt an issue. I have a good stash from the summer that I dont use on school for games, but I still have to pick and choose the games I do want.

My advice is to stick with smaller games because they can be played in short doses and are usually cheaper. Games like super meat boy, atom zombie smasher, and bejeweled are all perfect examples of this. If you dont have a PC good enough to play these games(aka a computer from 1997) then invest in a DS. Hand held games are perfect because you can play in small doses and basically anywhere. Hang in there buddy, we will get you through this curse called getting old!

My copy didn't arrive at my university mail box, despite it saying it was delivered. Thats ok because I wouldn't be able to play until tomorrow anyways. I havent been this excited for a game in a long time, so i envy you

Agreed. I am a huge socom fan, I am one of the few who actually enjoyed confrontation and played it up until the summer of 2010. The beta showed me that this is nothing but a average military shooter. I had fun with it, but it simply is not worth a purchase from what I have played.

I have had a few responses from random game folk, but my most proud have been a few back and forth between me and David Jaffe about random shit that I can't remember. Sadly my backlog doesnt go that far back since it was a year or two ago, but it was still pretty sweet.

I think Marcus could have been a pretty good addition to MK. Damn shame for 360 owners that nothing ever came of it.

I had trouble sitting through that combat for one play through sadly :-/

It doesn't happen a lot for me to be honest. I have gone back to snes games and still feel that same magic. The biggest offender for me was Mass Effect 1. I always think I am doing fine when replaying until I get to the citadel. Then it becomes one dragged out bore that I never finish. It was a great game the first time i played it, but mass effect 2 really made ME1 look like a shit game in comparison.

Yeah I am going to have to pass on giving up things I enjoy. I go on easter break from university tomorrow and intended on using that time to play the shit out of Portal 2 and Mortal Kombat while seeing my family. Sorry jesus.

@Akrid: Haha it isn't intentional, I just think it looks like something I would see in a guitar magazine. You are on the right track, all of these images are great. I am sure you will strike a good balance soon enough.

Yeah I own one. That is how I make most of my clothing actually, it works surprisingly well.
