I think that writing a lot should be worth more than uploading images. I've written up a bunch of huge articles, while some people upload a crap ton of images and get like five thousand points.
How about a "flag inappropriate" thing like the one on YouTube? Users can flag pornographic pages as inappropriate, and then to view those certain pages, users would have to confirm their age.
Deleted the Red Alert 2 watermarked image (however, the only other image under Box Art was not that nice looking, in my opinion, so I set another image instead as the default).
Deleted Natasha's image, as there was already a better version of it in her gallery.
Thanks. ^_^"
I changed it to a decent box art picture. That Red Alert 2 page is all my work, I can't believe I didn't notice the watermark.
"Still, more people know the franchise under the Earthbound name. Even people that have played Mother 1 may not know the series is called Mother in Japan, since the ROM dump of the US beta cartridge of Mother 1 was dubbed "Earthbound Zero."
If you think the Earthbound franchise should be renamed to Mother, then I think Dark Cloud 2 should be renamed to Dark Chronicle, and Tales of Destiny II should be renamed to Tales of Eternia. Since their current titles were only used in the US, but not in Europe and Japan. And majority rules, right?
This is a US-centric site. The staff has said so themselves. And I have no problem with those games having their US titles, but then Earthbound should be called Earthbound too."
It's the official US title of the game. Since there is only one game in the US, it isn't a franchise here. Therefore, the official name of the franchise is Mother. It is probable that more people know the series under the name Mother, as seen by the fame of Starmen.net.
The ROM dump of Mother on the NES was dubbed Earthbound Zero by an unofficial hacker, to avoid confusion. The menu graphic that says "Earthbound Zero" was also created by one of the hackers of Starmen.net.
The difference being those are the official names, while Mother is the official name of the series. EarthBound is only one game in the series, and sometimes games have different titles than previous iterations, while still being in a certain series. This is the case with the Mother series.
