@Tireyo643: The game tries to throw you off at every turn, it's pretty brutal. Nowhere near as difficult as Zelda II, the Ninja Gaiden trilogy, or even Contra games when talking about NES games.
@StarFoxA:Â Â Not really; the only reason the tortoise won was because the rabbit decided to take a nap in the middle of the race. Slow and steady only wins the race if fast and steady decides to give up halfway through.
@StarFoxA:Â Â Because I live on the Moon. Since a Lunar Day lasts around an Earth month, we only have to sleep for 5 Earth days. We have no need to nap.
@StarFoxA:Â Â Interplanetary/intergalactic laws dictate that official commerce/interaction cannot happen until both celestial bodies have easy access to space travel technology. So for you, however much it costs to develop an airplane that also functions like a spaceship, yet doesn't require landing in the ocean.
@Video_Game_King: I could always borrow the Serenity. I'm sure Malcolm Reynolds wouldn't mind.  Also, you don't need to quote me. I get two PMs each time you do.
I'm not quoting you, so nya :P. Â The Serenity? Again, it has to be available to everybody in some form; you borrowing Malcom's space thing doesn't count.
@Video_Game_King:Â I haven't seen a whole lot, but based on the clip, yes, Firefly is better. Characterization is absolutely amazing, with each equally well-developed. Make sure you watch the film--Serenity--as well, which is up there in my favorite movies of all time (with the likes of Lord of the Rings, Shawshank Redemption, classic Disney movies, etc).
Keep in mind that I only showed one clip of the finale movie; here are some more. And on those movies, all I've seen are the old Disney movies, and yes, they rule, even if they do nothing to dissuade Disney- Nazi myths.
@Video_Game_King:Â Whoa, you mean to tell me you haven't seen Lord of the Rings, Shawshank Redemption, and Firefly/Serenity? What rock have you been living under?
You plan to surpass me with 444 games beaten? That is nothing compared to my 1062! Wow, that had less of an impact than I thought it would. Why don't Arabic numerals have a caps lock equivalent?
@StarFoxA:Â Â Really? Shit. I finished that game back in 2005 or 2006. I can't remember specifically when, and I'm too lazy to check my GameCube memory cards.
@Video_Game_King: I'm taking a different approach. Instead of playing ROMs, I'm working through my "pile of shame." I have Okami, Call of Duty 3, Resident Evil 4, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Jade Empire, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Gears of War, and Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem that I'd like to finish up this summer.
I should probably do the same. I have Epic Mickey, Kirby's Epic Yarn (although those two I can probably knock out in time for another blog), Aquaria, Samorost2, Bullet Candy 3D, Osmos, Cortex Command, Super Meat Boy, Half Life, Half Life 2: Episode 1, Revenge of the Titans, I Wanna Be the Guy, and after ALL THAT, Team Fortress 2. Dear god.
@TMThomsen: I agree, but I'm on chapter 11 of 14, so I may as well finish.
@Video_Game_King: Out of those I've played Kirby's Epic Yarn, Samorost 2, Half Life 2: Episode 1 (wait, what about Episode 2?), and TF2. Samorost is SUPER WEIRD, but the rest are worth a play through.
I forgot to mention Alien Swarm and that free Trackmania game. Episode 2 would be on there, but nobody has gifted that to me, mainly because I haven't ordered anybody to do so, yet.
