Pro SCII has ruined my ability to appreciate Pro SSFIV

I used to be an avid watcher of Pro SSFIV footage, primarily through SRK but really anywhere I could get my hungry eyes on it.  I couldn't get enough of crazy clutch Daigo wins, irrationally hating Justin Wong in every match, and the amazing technical skills of Arturo Sanchez.  I'm still not sure whether my girlfriend was bemused with or embarrassed by me screaming at the screen as Justin was put into losers by Vangief then sent home by Gamerbee during Evo2k10.

Then SCII: WoL came out.

Now I find myself with a wealth of riches, from the endless antics of Tastetosis, the witty banter of JP and company, and the onslaught of quality content from Day[9], one of the few entertainers that actually make me laugh out loud.  It's great, it's amazing, except for the fact that I seem to have suddenly lost all interest in SSFIV.  I'll still get a rise out of an amazing Makoto video or ANY video of Rose winning (that's my girl!), but everything else seems flat and lifeless.

I know some of this might be new car smell, but I'm pretty sure that most of it comes down to quality of content.  Now don't get me wrong, people like Gootecks, Keits, Mr. Wizard, Dogface, Skisonic etc are all great, hardworking guys.  It's that the quantity, and unfortunately caliber, of content they're putting out isn't nearly enough for a greedy consumer whore like myself.  Even with MvC3 and hopefully SSFIVAE out in time for Evo2k11, I'm worried that I'm not going to care enough to watch it.

I know this all my come off sounding somewhat strange.  So what if I'm bored with SSFIV if I've found something bigger and better to sink my time into.  It's just that the entire Street Fighter series has been such a huge part of my life since I first got my hands on a stick and 6 buttons at the local Pizza Hut, part of my heart breaks at the thought of moving on.

So who knows, maybe with Evo Japan happening next year the scene will be revitalized.  Maybe we'll start getting HQ live streams of SBO with English commentary.  Maybe some player out there will realize they love the game so much that they need to create 3+ hours of amazing content each and every week breaking the game down.  Or maybe I'll be so into MvC3 by then that fighting games will make my eyes twinkle again.

Or maybe I just need to work on getting better at SSFIV.  Meh, I'll watch some more VoDs of the GSL instead.
