I never post, but I feel compelled to say how sad I was to hear this news. The timing of this tragedy makes it even more heartbreaking. My thoughts go out to his wife, family and friends.

I never had the pleasure to meet Ryan in person, but the impact he had on so many people through his work will not soon be forgotten. RIP.

WEC / UFC fighters all have to sign exclusive deals to ensure their likeness isn't used on a non-UFC approved project. While this prevents a lot of well-known fighters from being in the EA game, they're plenty of still-active pride/k1/Sengoku/Strikeforce/Affliction guys out there (Eg. Fedor, Josh Barnett, Jeff Monson, most of the Gracies, the Shamrocks, Vitor Belfor, JZ, Shinya Aokia, Saku, Kid Yamamoto, etc.)
