How is the WWE network at the moment for spoilers?

I'm in the UK and the PPV's show at about 1am.

In the past I've stayed up for the big ones, taped others but now my son is into watching so I wait until the next weekend and watch them with him.

I wouldn't go anywhere near the WWE website or any wrestling site during that time.

Does it look like you will be able to use the network to watch old stuff without finding out who won the rumble or whatever?

Or is it too early to tell yet?

I also tend to read more fantasy but one of the first non-fictions I can think of is Angry White Pyjamas.

English guy goes to japan to take part in a year long intensive course in Akido.

First game that jumped to mind was Raid on Bungeling Bay.

Did a goggle search to check the spelling and turns out it was a early Wil Wright game.

It was a top down helicopter game, which played quite similar to the desert strike games years later.

I think it was due to the fact that compared to other games like maybe 1942, that was just full on attack and then win or lose.

Things could go bad, you could head back to the carrier , refuel hit the enemy somewhere else.

I guess early open world stuff.

Oh, also Moonstone a Hard Days Kight on the amiga.

Whatever it plays like now it was fun being able to play it 4 player.

You had to take turns moving around the map during multiplayer but being able to fuck over your friends during a turn by stealing their equipment was amazing.

One tip I remember from when we had one years back was not to set the trap for the first few days.

Just put it out with the bait on it.

Once the rat is used to eating off it then you set the trap.

We were advised this by the externinator but my mom just wanted to get rid of it as fast as possible so she just set it like normal.

Turned out we should have listened to him as the rat was only injured by the trap and crawled off to die under the house.

Lovely smell for about a week.

This was about 20 years ago though, so traps might be a lot better now.

Nope. None of it. The people being put into hypnosis to "recall memories" are more likely having "memories" planted into their mind by the hypnosis. And the stage people that are made to act like a dog or whatever are just attention whores hamming it up for the audience... small minded folk willing to play along.

That Penn and Teller Bullsh*t episode about it was funny.

I'm inclined to think its all nonsense myself but how can it all be fake but still be able to implant memories?

Yeah, but like this shot from the new superman movie they have those reference points for the compositing work.

I doubt there is going to be too much extra added without them.

At least with movies, I think your a bit off about it being the third film in a trilogy where they set it in space.

I think it's more like movies that they keep throwing together sequels for eventually end up in space.

Hellraiser did it around part 5.

Leprechaun in part 4.

Friday the 13 in part 10.

I can't think of any that ran out of ideas so fast that they ended up in space by the third film.

@realph: I saw the mythos being played out like this in the film. The ship was Prometheus/Titan going to steal the Engineers/Gods technology/fire. Then when David conversed with the Engineer asking for there technology the Engineer punished all who had come to steal from them.

As for wanting to wipe out the human race for creating David/Life remember that they were originally going to Earth 2000yrs before the events of the movie, but because of what ever happened on the planet that killed almost all of them they were forced to go into a hypersleep and hope for rescue from their own kind. So it makes you wonder what happend 2000yrs ago that pissed them off so much they wanted to wipe us out? The birth of Christ or in the eyes of the Engineers a false God who took Humanities gaze away from the stars and stunted our progress. As they had seemed fine with the previous civilisations that they had left messages with on how to find them which were the Star Maps Shaw and Charlie found.

Interesting, I never even considered what was going on Earth at the time to influence their actions.

It is a possibilty but it just seem to me that these guys are working on a different time scale to us. A race that seeds a planet and waiting for life to evolve of over thousands of years is not just going to care about this.

Other religions existed before this point in history.

Yes thats true about the other religions but I would say that Christianity has had the biggest effect. Your aslo right about the time scale thing aswell, maybe they are like the Reapers from ME and harvest the technology from civilisations they create and continue doing it in cycles and restarting the gene pool after wiping out the previous society.

Don't know enough to argue about which religion had the biggest effect on mankind but at the birth of Christ time period I'm sure it wasn't Christianity.

Also, thinking about it, weren't the bodies there 1000 years not 2000 years?

I think that was what they said but i could be wrong.
