At some point in time, that middle touchscreen-ipad-looking thing was just meant to be 'your Ipad', right? I mean, that would at least make some amount of sense.
This.. I'm sorry but this looks like the WiiU all over again. Maybe minus the silly name and the extra silly gamepad.
I feel sorry for the people who paid money to see this (they did, right?)
If you have nothing to talk about except for a few announcements, then maybe don't do a panel? I get why all these sites have to send people to PAX, but I honestly think it might not be worth it. It kinda sucks the energy out of everyone and some of them get sick every freaking year.
Maybe just do one PAX a year and have some live Quicklook/Marioparty-Segment. That would work a whole lot better than this. Sorry guys, but the criticisms are valid.
This thing not being at E3 has got to mean they are having some production/other issues. A new console as a march release? Nah, my guess is something in manufacturing is taking longer than they anticipated.
And they want to play their cards close to their chest, so no E3 NX debut.
Huge bummer, I was looking forward to both Zelda and the new thang!
I guess those console makers are getting ready to.. get out of the business? I don't know, but there are not a whole lot of first party studios left on either side of this. I guess they want to sell consoles with just third party deals and timed exclusives from here on out.
Either way, I really liked some of the games Evolution has put out and it's a giant shame to see them go out like this. Oh and Driveclub wasn't as bad as some people made it seem like. There was a pretty good driving game hiding underneath all the club- and progression crap they added.
They never got the chance to make a proper Fable sequel. Instead somebody thought it was a good idea to rush Fable 3 out before it was ready, make a Kinect (not on rails) experience and have this freaking Evolve-like thing that Fable Legends was..
Microsoft really deserves the relatively low sales of their freaking console.
I really hope that somewhere down the line some of these people get to work for a better company.
All the people hoping for a great pack-in game must be pretty damn disappointed now!
Honestly, I'm shocked that all of these companies seem to be willing to sell their VR stuff without any attractive games. Guess its going to be a couple of years of 'experiences' before any real games come out..
