Summer Jams
June, July and the first three quarters of August are often referred to as "the quiet months" when it comes to gaming. Most big titles are released either during spring or fall, but there are exceptions. However, that doesn't mean that summers suck for gaming. This is a list of titles that showed up both to keep me from getting to much of a tun and to entertain me during rainy days.
For me, summer has become the season of the underdog, but as I started compiling this list, I soon realised that more big titles are released in June-August than I initially thought. Note that a few obvious summer releases are missing, either because I didn't enjoy them (StarCraft 2) or because I didn't get to play them until much later (Deus Ex).
