Does a surprise release date seem like something Hello Games would do?

The leaked marketing doc's list of things we either already knew or could have safely assumed based on previous leaks.

• Titled The Taken King
• The expansion will cost $40
• Third sub-class added to each race
• New raid where you hunt down Oryx, dad of Crota
• Release date of September 15th

We've known the title for a while I feel. We've known the third sub-class was coming based on the empty slot currently in the game, but it's nice to know what it entails. The release date of mid-September is a no-brainer.

The new new stuff appears to be that the raid will be about Oryx, which isn't a big leap in logic. Some new enemies called The Taken, and a bunch of content we don't know about yet that will hopefully justify the $40 price tag on it.

We all just assume that Iga lives in a castle just like this one, right? Right.

And he got $60 from me. Even though I vowed to never give to another Kickstarter again. Like I vowed to never pre-order another game again (that isn't Fallout 4 or Kingdom Hearts 3).

@teddie: My apologies. It definitely was unintentional. I was simply referring to the fact that they weren't framed is all...

And my use of the word "memorial" was also the wrong choice of words. This whole idea was just a thought I had and now it sounds like it's something that most people wouldn't like.

@allprox & @joshwent I thought about those, but they seemed more like dorm room posters to me and not a real art piece like the framed Jeff picture.

But it sounds like my idea may have just been a little too heavy-handed, so maybe it's not worth pursuing? And that's okay.

And @csl316 you're right, they'll definitely do what they want to do. I just thought it may have been a nice option if they had wanted to use it.

I've had this thought for a while now, and I figured what everyone else thought. If it's too corny or disrespectful I'll just erase it from my mind immediately.

On the set there is a framed portrait of Jeff that you can see over the shoulder of the person sitting in the chair. I always thought it would be a nice touch to have that be a portrait of Ryan looking over everyone while that play, and talk, and just Bomb around.

I never mentioned it before because I don't have the artistic chops to do a portrait of Ryan any justice. But maybe other Duders here do? If so, I'd happily get it printed (if needed), framed, and shipped to them.

Is this idea dumb or too on the nose? Just wondering what everyone else thinks?

I was trying to avoid that, just for simplicity-sake. But if that IS truly the best option I do have one laying around here.

I've searched the forums and came up empty, if this has been asked before, but what is you favorite controller for gaming on the iPad?

I keep seeing the SteelSeries Stratus come up, but $80 seems a little too pricey for me at this point.

Can any one here recommend a good Bluetooth controller for playing things like Bastion and some of the RPG's that I've got, so I don't need to use touch controls or on-screen gamepads?

I love the app, and if Giant Bomb ever needs help supporting it let us know! It's my favorite way to watch content.
