"No foreign national in a foreign land, without ties to the United States, has any unfettered right to demand entry into the United States or to demand immigration benefits in the United States. "

https://www.dhs.gov/news/2017/01/29/department-homeland-security-response-recent-litigation#

I don't know all the ins and outs of US constitution etc, but this seems like a logical position to me.

If Germany and Sweden adopted this attitude maybe they would not have all the chaos they have now after letting in anyone and everyone demanding asylum. People act as if they have a right to citizenship in whichever country they wish to move to. I believe every country has the right to allow, and deny entry to whoever they wish, in whatever numbers they deem acceptable.

I would not demand entry into another country and get upset if I get denied.

That said if the position regarding green card holders is true, that's ridiculous. These people have already been screened, and jumped through all the legal hoops required. Quite frankly they have complied with your rules and then you want to punish them? That is the height of idiocy and will only breed contempt and lawlessness.

@canadianmath: While this ban can be called stupid, it is not a ban on Muslims, as you seem to be suggesting from this post.

People from Indonesia, Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Niger, the UAE etc, are all still welcome in the US. They are all predominately Muslim countries. So isolating it as an attack on all Muslims is disingenuous.

What has happened is a temporary ban on 7 specific countries.

7 countries that the previous administration had isolated as a problem due to the amount of terrorist attacks that stem from those regions.

These countries were not targeted because of Racism, Trumps business interests, or any other reason people have dreamed up. They were targeted because Obama and Homeland Security deemed them a threat to the US and had already removed them from the Visa Waiver Program.

Trumps executive order said "countries of concern", only explicitly naming Syria. The rest of the list was already selected.

The Terrorist Travel Prevention Act of 2015 was the "Muslim Ban" before the "Muslim Ban"

Well they usually end up getting locked from what I've seen.

Too many idiots attacking the poster via ad hominem and not the argument presented because they can't articulate a cogent counter point. That and I see a lot of people get offended if you haven't got Correct Opinionâ„¢

It's not a review per se but after watching the Kinda Funny Gamecast, they're pretty positive on RE7 too. Seems like the game is surprising (in a good way) a lot of people!

I can't really get to a gym because I have really severe anxiety problems...

This is a major problem.

Avoidance is not going to help you in any positive way, instead it will further cement the idea the gym is a threat. By allowing these negative thoughts to dictate your behavior you are also cementing an idea that you are helpless and are at the mercy of your mind, thus creating a vicious cycle. You need to master your mind and not be a slave to false beliefs. This takes courage but i know you can do it!

What you need to do to conquer this fear is exposure, dive face first into whatever you are afraid of, look deep into the abyss and stand resolute and you will realise the only power it holds over you is ultimately what you allow. It cannot hurt you unless you allow it to, it is not a tiger that is going to rip your throat out.

Do not let this erroneous fear control your thoughts, else it controls your actions and you will be incapable of manifesting your will in reality. Literally. The fight or flight stress response directs oxygenated bloodflow away from your digestive system and towards your arms and legs. This uncontrolled fear directly impacts your desire to lose weight.
