Abby going a bit too hard on the anti-Diet Soda schtick, maybe save that for something with hard evidence either way.
I can't tell if you're joking or not. As opposed to water, or corn syrup soda?
In any case, if you've convinced yourself that aspartame is anything but a compromise leaning toward bad-for-you, I'm sorry.
Diet soda is no worse for Dan than the mountains of bad stuff he already eats.
And the science on Aspartame show it's safe, at least in the way that any sugar is safe, meaning use moderation (Even the UK/EU agrees!). Most of the controversy around it is due to the "science is scary crowd" which isn't worth taking seriously anyways. Unless you have an issue with Phenylalanine, you should be good having diet soda.
So we've gone from "there's no hard evidence" it's bad to "well obviously you need to drink it in moderation" and "he already eats bad stuff, so it's fine."
Randomizer isn't "cheat mode", if the game gives you a lot of stuff early then it might screw you over later on the one item you need in order to make progress later or at least have an easier time.
Stuff like boots and mirror in Turtle Rock is not cheat mode lmao
You can set how generous the game is with the order of the random items. It can be cheat mode but can also be set to possibly be impossible to complete.
