List-o-mania (Games)

To accompany the totally useless copy/pasted blog about my most anticipated E3 announcements, I'll make an actual list of game I want to see. Plus... quest... yo. And, no particular order. Also, since four games I was looking forward to were announced in the last few weeks, the list will nice and short.

List items

  • Hey, it's Metal Gear. 'Nuff said. It was already shown, but I haven't seen the video myself.

  • Hey, it's a Team ICO game. 'Nuff said.

  • Anything from these guys. As much as i was enjoying the characters and story in Lost Odyssey, the gameplay was from ten years prior and became insanely repetitive thanks to a couple of spells that won every single non-boss battle. I'd like this company to announce a game that is even remotely modern in gameplay so it doesn't put me to sleep despite a solid story.

  • Ain't gonna be shown, more than likely, but a man can hope, right?

  • I'd like to see something from Kingdom Hearts III, but now that they announced [another] DS game, this series will probably only be showing off the handheld material for now.

  • There's a 99% chance this will be shown, but since it is my most anticipated game I'll put it on the list anyway. I am mostly excited about it because I know for a fact I will play it for years, making it the best gaming investment I will ever make (seconded by FFXI, but that game got all kinds of annoying towards the end of my run).

  • Yeah, this probably won't be shown. Still, I like Rockstar more than I hate 'em, so I'd like to see if this is something I'll love like Red Dead Redemption or ignore like GTAIV.

  • Bonus!

This will probably happen during Blizzcon, so if it doesn't show up at E3 I don't really care. I just really want to play this so any news is good news.

  • Super Bonus!

A sequel to this would blow my mind. Th PC version of this game has become one of my favorite JRPGs this generation. The PC version was a whole different (and monstrously superior) animal from the 360 game. The damage was done, though, so this series is very likely dead - an unfortunate outcome. Plus, a sequel was talked about, it would probably be a TGS thing.
