@SamStrife: No, different question with two completely different people and two completely different games.  Why did you post just to say that?  If you are going to post at least stay on topic and add something at the end of your post that is on topic.

I haven't been able to listen to bombcasts latetly because I'm avoiding ME spoilers.  How far is Brad in Fallout 3?  Has he beat it yet?  How many hours did it take for him to beat it?

Does anyone know if Jeff started playing Dragon Age Origins yet?  I remember him saying a while back that he was going to start playing the 360 version soon.

Note: I haven't been listening to any recent bombcasts because I'm trying to avoid ME spoilers.

As far as I know, there's no way to do this on PS3. I never had a problem having to hold down L2, so queuing commands for me was easy. "

I tried holding L2 and it was a real big pain in my ass.  I take awhile deciding what special moves I'm going to use for each character which causes my middle finger to fatigue quickly.  I did it for a couple battles but absolutely hate the fact you have to keep the trigger held down the entire time.  I like the toggle feature wayyyyy better.

When you first become a Spectre and leave the citadel how do you know where to go?  I know I need to find the Liara dig site somewhere in Artemis Tau Cluster.....but there are ALOT of areas to explore in this cluster and driving around for a long time in this mako really sucks.  How are you suppose to know where to go exactly?  I don't want to use a guide......I'm simply asking how are we expected to know where to go next exactly?

I'm playing the PC version.  That is strange that there is not option to pause the game.  While watching the cutscenes I occasionally get interrupted and miss some parts of the plot because there is no way to save.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

*ahem*

I'm not really certain how one would go about finding this, but I believe they said something about attempting to hold to a 90-day spoiler free window, after which, if they feel it necessary to discuss plot for a point they're making, they will.

Honestly, I'm not certain how being told Shepherd dies at some point is more of a spoiler than the notion, quite commonly mentioned, that he was in the sequel at all.  Doesn't that imply he survived the first game?  Doesn't that have just as much of an impact on how you view the story of ME1?!?  OH NO, there's an ME2!  The universe didn't cease to be during ME1! SPOILERS.

I guess I'd feel like you had more of a point if Shepherd's death wasn't in the teaser trailer; you know, the absolute first piece of content Bioware released regarding ME2...  Not /much/ of a point, as ME1's more than 2 years old at this point, but, you know, more of one.

(Just takin' a loot at the achievements.  If you look at  http://www.giantbomb.com/achievements/medal-of-honor/654/ you can see that a full 73.3% of our userbase that has ever played Mass Effect has beaten the game.  Nearly 3 of 4 people who played at all, knew how Mass Effect plays to the end; and I'm pretty certain that the vast majority of people who haven't played yet aren't going to play ME1.  At this point, discussing something that was stated by Bioware's marketing team months ago, seems acceptable to me.) "

Actually, I did not watch any trailers or read any news about Mass Effect 2 at all.  But I see your point I guess when you put it that way it is not really that big of a spoiler.  Before hearing the Brad spoiler I was thinking they might have some cool plot twist at the end of Mass Effect 1.......you know something like Saren kills Sheperd and then Rex kills Saren.  Now that I know what happens in 2 I kind of feel like Shepard is invincible now.

My main point is why can't we have a spoiler warning in the bombcast audio file or at least in the text of the page where you download it.  If I knew it had spoilers I would not have even downloaded or listened to it.

@xyzygy:  So the guy who told me to do this:

press R1 + L1 at the same time to "select all party members" then pause with L2, issue command to 1st party member then it auto switches to the next party member.

was BSing me?

If so then I'm still really confused.  What is the purpose of L1+R1?  I just now tried it and it does infact select all party members but I can't figure out why and what purpose this actually has.

I just now tried a suggestion from another game website forum.......he said to press R1 + L1 at the same time to "select all party members" then pause with L2, issue command to 1st party member then it auto switches to the next party member.

Unfortunately, I just now tried getting this to work for the past 30 minutes and I can not figure out for the life of me how to do this.  Every single freaking time I press X the game automatically unpauses.  How in the heck do you get around this without switching to the hold L2 option?

Someone please help!
