I thought I wasn’t in the mood for Ghost of Tsushima and loaded it up anyway. Two hours later...

The ones that stand out the most are the lizards with swords from Ocarina of Time. I remember I would end up gripping my controller hard when facing them.

She's not much of a gamer at all, but we do play Diablo III or WoW occasionally. She's curious about Hearthstone as well.

Being Jewish, I don't believe in heaven, but I like the concept of working to be as close to G-d as possible. I like to think of it as a really long waiting line.

I think both graphically and gameplay wise was Uncharted 3. I had just bought a PS3 bundled with the game and it blew me away. Everything from the set piece moments, to the difficult but rewarding combat, to the performances and characters just hit the right chords with me. I so wanted big bombastic cinematic games to keep being a thing.

@mkennedy: I do feel like people are using games as platforms for venting their prejudices. I've noticed this most recently with TLoU Part II and the strong reaction to not only female leads, but to gay and transsexual characters. I'm not one to judge people for not liking games based on actual merits, but I noticed these YouTube gamers who have thousands of followers commenting on the game and dumping on it while side stepping what they're uncomfortable with for long enough, then eventually saying it. I get the issues with pacing and how the ultra violence can turn people off, but this really was a rude awakening for me.

I'm digging Warrior Nun a lot. I like that it takes its time explaining the characters and establishing the world, rather than focusing on the action aspect. The cinematography is stunning and the performances are good. I'm not done with the season yet, but it's in my sites.

I'm Dan, 37 yo. Love me some superheroes, Star Wars, and other forms of shiny, loud, and subjectively deep media. I'm obsessed with "Take on Me" by Aha and don't know why.
