Whilst the story was slightly disjointed and difficult to follow, the basic premise of the Banner Saga was fantastic. You, your Clansmen, Fighters and Varl - alongside a caravan of refugees - must find a way. A classically Tolkien-esque tale; the odds felt immeasurably stacked against me, with despair experienced at every turn.Oftentimes I was left wondering, is this survivable?
