@austin_walker Hey guys, just a quick correction. Amazon Prime isn't $130 dollars here in the U.S. It's $100. They did raise the price like you all pointed out, but it was from 80 to 100 if I'm not mistaken. I live in the southeast of the states, so I don't know if the price is different in other parts of the country. It' still a big number to throw down for any yearly service, but at this point Prime has become a staple in my household. The two day shipping and streaming alone is worth the price for us. Anything else is icing on the cake.
At this point there's a novelty to Vr, and that will persuade some people, but plenty others won't bite just for that. Once people get their hands on these devices and more content (hopefully) comes out, then a case could be made for one of these things. Until then, we'll just have the see.
Nothing about this launch is very pretty, especially when pointed out that this is something you can only use when paired with an even more expensive device. This whole platform will be an uphill battle carried on the backs of early adopters.
I absolutely love Vesperia. It holds a prestigious place in my list of completed games, as one of the 4 jrpgs I've ever played to completion. And much like you, Abyss made me vehemently hate it so fast it made me question my love of Vesperia. (Something I didn't think possible!)
I've got a copy of Xillia somewhere on my shelf. I'd like to throw in my Ps3 one of these days. Unfortunately it's sitting boxed up under my bed, so... unless it comes to steam or ps4 that doesn't seem likely.
