I love the random villager expressions in Fable 2. Having just finished having sex with my wife (Who responded by telling me I was so strong, and asking if those were new moves), one of the village men said "Oh, goody. Usually I have to pay to see a show like this." lol

Hey, I'm a Fable 2 n00b, and apparent bigamist and I was wondering - since I'm a girl, will having babies limit my questing in any way (ie, do I need to do the pregnancy thing, or will it magically happen?) and can I still have babies with my various husbands, or is there a waiting period in between? Seems like the thread for it. :)  Thanks.

Seen numerous ghosts. No big. Either I'm crazy and coping with it, or they're dead and doing the same. ;)

  • I'd go for Mass Effect. Partly because I've just finished my fist play through and want to spread the love. :DIt's an RPG, so it depends how much of a completionist you are. I reckon you could play through the main quest easily in about 12 hours, and that's if you take the time to listen to the story.  I did the majority of the side quests, and it took ...

So I'm accustomed to having rather detailed and vivid dreams that occasionally take me a few moments after waking to knowledge as fantasy (most of which, I'm not ashamed to admit, are made of awesome and win! I battled zombies with Bruce Campbell, man!). When I'm sick, they apparently get weirder. Last night I found myself deep in Pokemon land, wandering across an epic landscape, battling other trainers (crushing them to dust!) with my fearsome Charizard, Golduck, and Buneary (it was a fever dream, so please forgive me that last one...).

The thing is, the world wasn't 'realistic' - as in, we weren't magically transported to Kanto or anything - but was in fact a cyber-world where trainers from all over the globe could meet and quest and battle without leaving the comfort of their own rooms. Yes, that's right. I dreamed about the Pokemon MMO!

Seriously, WTF? I haven't even played hat game in months. lol. But it did get me thinking: a Pokemon MMO might work pretty well. The structure of the game as is is pretty much a 'pass a random trainer, battle them, move on' one, so why not make those random trainers real random trainers? There might actually be some value then in building your squad stats a certain way, and having different teams for different regions. And there could be a tournament system, and co-op battling.....   I think with a little re-jigging of the main objective 9not everyone can be number one, but everyone could beat the elite 4, etc) it could be pretty fun. Not that I'd pay for it, mind you. Well, not a tenner a month anyway, but still, it's a thought.

Remember peeps, if it happens, you heard it here first! And I will then move on to predicting lotto numbers....lol

Peace.

Burn Notice might just be the greatest thing on TV right now. I knew I liked it but I had sort of forgotten exactly how totally freaking awesome it really is - until today. Michael's back, baby!  XD

The latest episode rekindled my crazy love for this show and all things in it. I'm literally giddy from the back of that one episode!!  The epicness has truly returned. :)

Please, if you haven't watched it yet, do yourself a favor and get to it!

Well, what are you waiting for? Get.

That. That sucks.

Battlefront 3 was looking pretty cool. That take off scene, dark Obi Wan... kicked the crap out of force unleashed!

I'm annoyed that such a fab looking game may never be released. And those poor folks who a, have now lost their jobs, and b, will never get to see the project they've spent the past however many years working on come into fruition, and if it does come out, it will come out sans cool footage and be less than complete.

Give it to me - I'll market it! They can keep all the profit.

So, I'd say I'm a pretty hardcore RPGer, if there is such a thing. I'm one of those 'has to finish every single sidequest' peeps. I routinely rack up in excess of 200 hours on Final Fantasy games, and still can't bring myself to complete the final boss becase there's one damn bit of magic/enchanted item/ character limit break that i don't yet have! So, as you can imagine, playing through the main mission in Mass Effect, where every single time I travel to another system someone seems to buzz me with yet another sub-quest to do, is taking quite some time. Not that I don't enjoy it, mind you. It's just, between class (in Dublin = 3 hour commute each eay twice a week), my social life , work, and a little thing I like to do called SLEEP, fitting my quest-love in to my day (hmm...no one move that hyphen over) is throwing the rest off.  One of them has to move over in order to fit it in, and sadly (as much as I wish work could take the bullet), the casualty seems to be sleep. I miss sleep. Sleep was nice.

What's worse, when I do manage to squeeze a few hours slumber into my day, all I see is that damn Prothean vision. Gone are my once happy dreams of giraffes on motorbikes, my time spent as the fifth (and most awesome) ninja turtle, the day I freed the Green Hill people from their cyborg overlord, and that particularly epic occasion when Bruce Campbell and I fought side by side to fend off a zombie/alien invasion!

Sigh. I also think I'm seeing Geth in my waking state as well. In fact, I think there is one behind the photocopier.....

Fall Out3 is going to kill me, isn't it?
