@slyspider You are correct - there is no new class. They're just making another playstyle for each existing class (and hopefully letting each class access a new weapon type. Some people are theorizing thieves getting rifles as 'assassins').

While this is still a challenge balance wise, I imagine adding a entirely new class to the pot would be even more of a headache

While there is no new class they're doing what looks like the different class system from Destiny. The example they made was a Ranger could become a Druid completely changing the playstyle. (and like @theht said it seems to be through this new profession)

As for a date - there will be a playable build at Pax East
Also NCSoft the publisher said during a report to shareholders they foresee a big spike in profits from Arena Net during Q3... maybe that is just preorder but still this seems pretty close.

Lastly Colin Brohanson (worlds 2nd best smile next to Brad Muir) said ANet will be doing "Deep Dives" focusing on the various aspects of the expansion in regular intervals in the coming weeks.
What I translate that as is blog posts and them talking about it ever other week on their Points of Interest show they do on twitch (which as far as game developer streams go, isn't to shabby) which you can just watch the vods on youtube a few days later.

The trouble with many grass roots movements is the lack of outline; stuff they are for and against can only be measured in broad strokes because when you get to finer things like say, how to treat someone you disagree with, then the message and goal becomes clouted among internal debate.
(An example is Wall Street's "We are the 99%" movement; asking 10 people what it was about gave you multiple answers)

Add to that the internet's fondness of trolls (in this case; dangerous and possibly real threat trolls) they can pretend to be apart of the movement while pushing their own agenda.

What can people wanting better journalistic ethics & disclosure do about this? Many Things! Chief among them is to distance yourself from the term GamerGate because any hope for legitimate discussion will be drowned out by all this crazy, yo!

• Why not become a reviewer of games yourself? All it takes these days is a webcam and youtube account! Make your voice be your own and not a reverb of someone elses!
• Find Journalists who hold themselves to quality / style you like and inform them of such. This is not the same as telling a reviewer to change their ways to suit you!
• Maybe not threaten or verbally assault someone with an opinion different from you! (this applies even if you aren't pro gamergate!)
• Become an informed consumer! Learn who may have business dealings with who will help you if you worry about reviews being clouded by factors outside what you want in a review. However, make sure what you learn is true and well sourced, otherwise it could all just be hearsay and bullcrap!

That sounds super cool! Pretty sure I've traveled to Williamsburg and had a really good time there, hope you enjoy it!

As for dream vacation, would have to put it between going to San Francisco and the Yosemite National Park area OR to the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, which I just see as a place that tells a powerful story in the recent times of the US.
