In games with a minor relationship mechanic built in with multiple outcomes, (Mass Effect, Dragon Age:Origins, etc.) I make a separate save for each lady I have bedded. I think it's due to my secret longing to become a gigolo.
If I'm in an achievement whoring mood, I'll crack open a guide in my browser. Other than that, it's reserved for times when I'm microseconds away from boomeranging my controller into my television.
