10 more games that put it all together and deliver fun gameplay a cut above the competition. This is definitely my "B" list. Some things here can go either way depending on your genre tastes and capacity to deal with jank.
I don't care for the horror-survival genre at all but this game just works. The gameplay and controls are top-shelf. The story is O.K. What makes it stand out are the incredible 3D graphic design and lighting, and the 3D zero-G segments.
This game delivers a ridiculous story with a heaping pile of TERRIBLE controls and bad graphics. Jankity jank jank! If you can fight through all of that the total sum of the experience is a fun 20 to 24 hours of game.
Squad-based RTS with cover gameplay mechanics and some RPG elements (gear, levels, and upgrades for each squad member). This game is just good solid fun in a fantastic setting. Also the expansions all some really great stuff. 3rd expansion coming in 2011.

This game plays and looks like an MMA fight. That's really cool! The controls are detailed. At first I was thrown on the timing but there are definitely cues in the actual character animations. That's much cooler than using some on-screen icon or prompt. Online mode is pretty close to perfect.
A little out of my element here - not into Fake-Real-Shooters. This one is fun though. Vehicles are great. Environments are great. Campaign is O.K. Online mode rewards strategy and teamwork - excellent.
My first PS3 game. This is fun. A very punishing fun though so be warned.
This game has a serious helping of crazy mixed in. It's a fun crazy. First person melee combat?! What? Well it works pretty well. The art design though is nuts. Sometimes good sometimes very disturbing. Which is fun too.
I'm not sure exactly what I think about this game so far. It's been fun. Not exactly easy but never boring. It has a real edge on it. Everything from the story, gameplay, graphics, it's all sharp edged and just dangerous.
