Vinny, Alex, and Jeff are right about Fall Out 4. There is no excuse for Bethesda to keep making a buggy janky mess of game that can be barely defined as an RPG. Except that those games keep making them money.
Yup. Same engine, same tech and 7 years after Fallout 3 one would have thought they would either change the engine or improve on the existing tech and ship a more polished games. Nope to all of that.
It gets singled out unfairly though. All open world games are buggy as fuck at launch. Witcher 3 was a fucking mess when it launched too but everyone gives it a pass. I had about 3-4 NPCs with a "!" over their heads even though I've finished their quests and the game. I had way more issues with witcher 3 than i did fallout 4.
CDproject has improved and changed the engine A LOT, it looks fantastic and the game had a lot less release bugs than Fallout 4 still has months after release. Bethesda is just resting on their laurels because they can and because their rabbit fanbase. It doesn't excuse the mess that still is Fallout 4.
