Fantastic review, Brad. I hope we see more reviews from the crew - when they get a chance to really flesh out their thoughts, the reviews can be extremely illuminating.

That is a beautifully hasty photoshop in the thumbnail and I’m here for it. Now to listen...

@mupod. Thank you so much for that question. I NEED the bomb crew to find and play these games as soon as possible, at least the ones not already covered by Drew.

A Day in the Life (or A Week in the Life according to Wikipedia) sounds a heck of a lot like Cart Life, but for teens.

Offshore Fishing and Robot R&D (where you build robots and test them by crushing or dunking them, according to the wiki) also could be amazing to see today.

What’s crazy is you can’t even find a screenshot of any of these online, besides cross country Canada. I need to know what these look like! We had the ICON at my school in Toronto, but I think my teachers were too scared of technology because I don’t ever remember using them for anything but typing tutors.

Is the PS4's share play feature an option to get Jeff to play with them? I've done it, and it's pretty seemless. It's obviously too late for this game, but they could keep it in mind in the future.

@greylion: I can definitely say that I have no idea how I would have felt as a 13 year old about the humour of this game. I certainly appreciate the artstyle now, so I bet I would have thought it was neat then. Also, I enjoyed wrestling in the 90s, where Stone Cold Steve Austin was throwing middle fingers at everyone and Degeneration X were chopping crotches left-and-right.

I can't stand wrestling now, so that shows me tastes can change.

But forget all that! Everyone needs to see @glots' video on page 2. It really is something special, ans puts this whole debate on the back burner. I wish I knew how to properly quote comments so I can bring it more attention!

@glots: this is the best thing ever. It single-handedly justifies the existence of this game AND Internet Dan (and really, Dan in general). ;)

There is no honest way for Dan to say that he knows exactly how his 13-year-old self would react to this game. The fact that he was so sure is actually infuriating.

I'm going to listen to this shortly, but does Brad trot out his favourite "the most powerful hardware has never been the most popular console" chestnut for the Scorpio? I hope so, for the sake of consistency. He mentioned it multiple times during the One/PS4 release.

There is no skill-based matchmaking currently. The stats are tracked, but it's not implemented yet. This will be one of the first things they enable. It really is only 2 guys making the game, and they've already had a number of patches. I'm willing to bet it happens soon, as the skill chasm is already starting to grow and it's going to affect people's enjoyment.

I'm loving this game so far. The match lengths are perfect, and it has the "just one more game" addiction going on. Really, really impressed.
