Games I played in 2012

List items

  • I waited until after the release of episode 3 to play this and made a weekly ritual out of playing an episode a week and I really loved pacing it like that. I have never felt so close to game characters as I did when I played this. It made me feel ways about things.

  • Excellent. Also listen to the soundtrack.

  • So much character and I really laughed at many points points during the game. A great sequel to a great game. One of my favorites of all time.

  • I played so much of this game. Originally, I played on my girlfriend's steam acount as a mage and really loved it. I received a copy for the 360 for my bday and played through for another 100+ hours. Such a great world and dragons! My 360 character was Gord the Sword and Board Nord, possibly my favorite character of all time. Sword and shield felt great for that game. Technically started in 2011.

  • Love this game. I played it on IOS and loved it so hard.

  • I'm biased towards this game because of my love for Persona 4 and to a lesser extent 3. So this may be my favorite fighting game ever. I've played a lot of fighting games and I'm pretty terrible at them but this one felt really good and has inspired me to replay some guilty gear from time to time. Story mode is fun and the Persona characters and soundtrack make for a great time.

  • Really great game. The music really grabbed me and the gameplay was tight. THe aesthetic of the game is fantastic. Great use of colors.

  • A return to the mmo for me. Unfortunately the guild broke after the first week and took a very long time to fix. During that time people moved on and many found it tough to come back. Still a very beautiful game and worth exploring.

  • The first Zelda game I've finished in a really long time. I really enjoyed the motion controls and I don't say that very often at all.

  • Very cool. I originally played this when it released as a borrow since my income was 0 at the time. I had to give it back about 3 hours from the end and I had a hard time going back but I'm glad I did. Atmosphere.

  • Very fun. I played this 2 player. Loot could be tough to manage but it's a fun game with a cool look. The weapons are a blast.

  • After finishing the first right on time to play the second we didn't feel up to the task of finishing this one right away. Still just as fun.... actually more fun than the original. The new characters are pretty great. It's more Borderlands which is cool.

  • Finally breaking out the PSP and getting some of my money's worth out of a machine that I sadly neglected. I'm really into the Persona games and this one is pretty good. I got caught up in trying to finish all of the side stuff and never finished the game but I plan on changing that soon. Lots of personality and a bit of creepy vibe which I really like.

  • More Batman fun. I didn't get into this one as much as Arkaham Asylum but a good play. I still need to revisit this game for some of the riddler challenges.

  • Stupid Fun! Steam version adds Gordan Freeman to the roster of playable characters.

  • Not totally a game as much as it is an experience. Very cool to walk through this journey. **potential spoilers** I have theories that this game may be a coma dream but I think its intentionally vague.

  • Ridiculous story makes this shooter stand out. Pretty cool.

  • Fun defense game. :D Neat characters.

  • I finished it! Great looking for the time. The characters are alright and space pirate ships are pretty rad. I tried to collect all the the things and it really isn't worth all that. But it's a neat jrpg.

  • My first vita experience. The game city looks great and I really like the main character's animation and flailing through the air. A few of the moves added to showcase the Vita's functions fell short and can be frustrating (sliding I'm looking at you).

  • Another Plus game although I really wanted this before it was offered free. First off Warhammer 40k has been one of my favorite things since I was pretty young so I auto-like this game since it isn't a total wreck. It can get very repetitive but the combat is neat. Space Marines!

  • Another freebie on Plus. Solid fighting game and the first Vrtua Fighter console game I have tried. It's pretty good.

  • Fun little puzzle solving game with a quirky story.

  • Played this for free on Plus. It was alright and pretty dumb.
