Tonight I went back to Left 4 Dead after a long honeymoon with Dead Island and it felt really jarring. Similar to the experience I had when I switched the other way the first time. The two games just feel so vastly different, and honestly I don't even know if I enjoyed it tonight. Dead Island certainly isn't without its flaws, but man it really nails down a good feeling when you smack a zombie in the face with a baton.
